Priority Series

This series furthers the exploration of found objects and the display coming together to create sculpture. By each piece of the broken ceramic having its own individual pin, they become jewelry, which contains it's own idea of preciousness. After pinning each piece back together the original imagery can be enjoyed. However, the ceramic remains noticeably broken, especially under the familiar USPS Priority lettering. The broken remnants of the ceramic pins are then housed inside an exotic hardwood frame, which in essence then becomes a "jewelry box".
